Settling in period

We offer every new child a 'settle in' period before their first day, free of charge!

During this time, your child will spend short periods of time at nursery, growing comfortable in their new environment. This is also an important time for the staff team to get to know you and your child, so they are fully aware of your child’s individual needs.

Sessions/Fees

We are open from 7.45 am until 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Sydenham Parents have the opportunity to access our ‘Early Start session’ from 7.30 am at an additional cost.

The days which we open exclude bank holidays, the week between Christmas & New Year and up to 3 staff training days that we set at the beginning of each year. Children are required to attend at least 2 days a week to help in providing continuity of care.

Payment of fees is due on the 1st of the month and is payable in advance; we are able to accept childcare vouchers to cover the fees or as part payment. Fees are calculated on a termly pro-rata basis; and are therefore payable during holidays and Christmas breaks.

Little Cherubs is pleased to be able to offer a sibling discount off the eldest childs fees.

3 Year Funding

All three and four year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education for 38 weeks of the year. The Free nursery education sessions are 8am-1pm and 1pm-6pm. These spaces are offered to parents over 1 x full day & 1 x half day session. Children become eligible for this funding the term after their 3rd birthday

30 Hours Funding

From September 2017, the Introduction of the 30 hours funding will commence.

We are please to be able to offer an extra 15 hours to ALL parents that meet the criteria, giving a total of 30 hours free childcare per week during term time.

2 Year Funding

We offer the 2 year old early learning entitlement which enables eligible children to 15 hours of free early education during term time only. Children become eligible for this funding the term after their 2nd birthday.

The funding is allocated on a means tested basis by the Local Authority, with the aim of extending this entitlement to all 2 year olds in the future. If you are eligible for this funding you will receive a ‘Letter of Eligibility’ which will enable us to claim the free entitlement for your child.
